101 One-Yard Wonders: Project #3

Project #3: Folklore Tote

This took about 2 hours, but it was well worth the wait!! I used three coordinating fabrics (do they look familiar?! I used them on the Strappy Clutch for my sister!) and some fusible interfacing to make it a little bit more durable. There were also a bunch of pieces to cut out, but the assembly was pretty easy. The outside has two pleats on the front and back.

The inside is finished also, with two pockets. If I make this bag again, I will add bigger pockets and more of them. The finished tote is 13.5" wide & 10" tall (not including the straps).
My sister-in-law asked me to make her a bag, so here it is!!
